MISHAWAKA - Sister M. Cecilia Clare Piechocinski, 90, of Our Lady of Angels, St. Francis Convent, died at 8:15 a.m. Saturday in the convent. She was born May 16, 1905, in Omaha, Neb., as Wanda Piechocinski.
She entered the convent Nov. 14, 1920, and received her Franciscan habit June 29, 1921. She was a teacher in New Mexico, Michigan, Illinois and Indiana. Her last mission was at St. Casimir's School in Hammond. Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Convent Chapel. Burial will be in Sisters of St. Francis Convent cemetery. A wake service will be at 7 p.m. Monday in the chapel.
