GRANGER - Stephanie Louise Pico, 20,
of Broken Arrow Drive, died at 12:16 p.m. Sunday at her home. Dr.
Scott Thomas, St. Joseph County deputy coroner, said Miss Pico
died of accidental carbon monoxide poisoning. Miss Pico was
employed by Gordon's Jewelers, Mishawaka, and was a sophomore at
Holy Cross College. She was born Sept. 14, 1975, in Quinault,
Wash., and lived in Granger for six years.
She is survived by her parents, Margaret and
David Pico of Granger; a sister, Mary Elizabeth Pico of Granger;
two brothers, David and Matthew, both of Granger; maternal
grandfather, Larry Morrison of Yakima, Wash.; and paternal
grandparents, Catherine and Samuel Pico of Lake Milton, Ohio. She
was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday in St.
Pius X Catholic Church. Cremation will take place. Friends may
call from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Hickey Funeral Home, 17131
Cleveland Road, South Bend, and an hour before services Tuesday
in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
