SOUTH BEND - Bradley Gene Pianstki, 28, passed away May
8th at 4:10 p.m. in Indiana University Medical Center,
Indianapolis, from complications after surgery. Bradley was born
August 16, 1979, in South Bend, to Gene and Linda Pianstki. Brad
was a graduate of Washington High School, attended Indiana
University at South Bend, and was currently enrolled at Ivy Tech,
South Bend. He was employed at The South Bend Tribune. Brad was a
member of Holy Family Church. Surviving are his devoted mother,
Linda Pianstki; loving sister, Beth Gibson;
brother-in-law, Doug; and nephew, Blake, all of South Bend. His
beloved father, Gene, preceded him in death on September 21,
2001. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles and cousins who
will miss him dearly. Brad was a joyous person who certainly made
the most of his short time with us. He enjoyed fishing with his
grandfather, golfing with his father, and playing game after game
of Euchre at family gatherings. More recently he found more
happiness in his life as he took on the role of doting uncle to
his precious nephew and Godchild, Blake.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m.
Monday, May 12, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower
Road, South Bend, where a Rosary will be prayed at 4 p.m. A Mass
of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May
13, in Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St.
Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
