SOUTH BEND - Mary B. Phillips, 68, beloved mother, grandmother,
sister and aunt, went home to meet our Lord and Savior on
February 1, 2010, in Hospice House, South Bend, IN. She is
survived by her two daughters, Pamela Phillips of Aurora,
Colorado, and Regina (Timothy) Brown of South Bend, IN; three
grandchildren, Vashawn, Jasmine, and Daion, whom she loved and
cherished; three brothers, Melvin Kelley of Frederick, MD, Arthur
(Rosemary) Kelley of South Bend, IN, and Fred (Patricia) Kelley
of Phoenix, AZ; a sister, Etta Duke of South Bend, IN; and a host
of nieces and nephews. Mary was a faithful member of the
Gethsemane Church of God, where she served on the Mother Board.
She was employed by Wells Electronics for 33 years as a press
operator. She was also a loving caregiver for her mother, father
and brothers who preceded her in death. A homegoing celebration
honoring the life of Mary B. Phillips will be held in the
Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home, 2702 Lincoln Way West on Saturday,
February 6, 2010, at 11 a.m. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. and
funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow
the funeral service at Highland Cemetery. The Clark-O'Neal
Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
