Mrs. Dilema Philion

 

Mrs. Dilema Philion, age 75, a resident of Mishawaka for the last quarter century, died this morning at 1:53 o'clock at St. Joseph’s hospital, after a serious illness for the last year and declining illness for the last three years.  She lived with her son, Julius Philion, at 506-1/2 North Main street.  Surviving are two other sons, Lucian and Moses Phillion, this city, and a fourth, Eugene Philion, of Toronto, Canada, and three grandsons and two great-grandsons.

 

Mrs. Philion was born in Germany Aug. 19, 1851 and was brought to Canada when but two years old.  There she lived for nearly half a century and there she was married to Hermidof Philion.  They came to this city 25 years ago and Mr. Philion died 12 years ago.

The funeral of Mrs. Delima Philion, 506-1/2 North Main street, was held from St. Monica's Roman Catholic church, Monday morning at 9 o'clock.  Rev. John Kohl officiated.  Burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery.
