Mishawaka – Sharon C. Peyla, 55, of Calhoun Street, died at 1:15 p.m. Oct. 16 in Pawating Hospital of injuries she received in a car accident. Mrs. Peyla was employed by Lend Lease Trucks Inc., South Bend, and previously was employed by Wheelabrator-Frye and Whiteford Truck Lines, South Bend.

She was born May 11, 1938 in Rochester. On Sept. 14, 1957, in Mishawaka, as Sharon C. Armey, she married Jack L. Peyla. He survives with a daughter, Elizabeth “Lisa” Frantz of South Bend; a son Anthony J. of Mishawaka; three grandchildren; her father Dean Armey of South Bend; and a brother, Terry Armey of Hillsdale, Mich.
