SOUTH BEND - Frank Petrowski, 88, of Meridian Nursing Center-River Park, died at 6:50 p.m. Saturday in the nursing home. Mr. Petrowski retired as a land surveyor and construction engineer. He was born Dec. 7, 1905, in Chicago and lived in South Bend since 1979, coming from Chicago.

On Sept. 12, 1942, in Chicago, he married Lucille T. Lewis. She died in 1989. He is survived by a sister-in-law, Ineta Peters of Lakeville; a niece, Michelle Peters of Birmingham, Ala.; and three nephews, John Peters of Lakeville, and James Peters and Lance Peters, both of South Bend.

There will be no services or visitation. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Boniface Cemetery, Chicago. Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Lakeville United Methodist Church.
