SOUTH BEND - Mary K. Petrie, 70, of Bloomington, Ill., formerly of South Bend, died at 10:12 a.m. Friday in BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal, Ill., after an illness. Mrs. Petrie was born Nov. 30, 1924, in South Bend and moved to Bloomington in 1958.

On Jan. 5, 1947, in South Bend, as Mary K. Foegley, she married Harry M. Petrie. He survives with a daughter, Kay A. Thomas of Westminster, Colo.; a son, Dr. Kent A. of Vale, Colo.; four grandchidren; and two brothers, Jack E. and Robert O. Foegley, both of South Bend. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church of Bloomington.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call one hour before services Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
