SOUTH BEND - There were no services or visitation for Pierina H. Peretti, 79, of Englewood, Colo., formerly of South Bend, who died May 18 in her home. Cremation has taken place. Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, Littleton, Colo., handled arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Rocky Mountain Chapter, 825 Speer Blvd., Denver, CO 80218.

Mrs. Peretti was born Sept. 6, 1915, in Superior, Mich., and lived in South Bend until 1991. On June 6, 1937, in Butte, Mont., as Pierina Giacholetto, she married Ettore Peretti. He survives with a daughter, Charlene Magee of Engelwood, Colo.; a son, James of Clear Lake, Calif.; two grandchildren; and a brother, Olivio Giacholetto of Rapid City, S.D. She was a member of Ladies of Notre Dame and Christ Child Society.
