Sister M. Frances Inez CSC, 87, of St, Mary’s Convent died early today in the convent. Bror April 28, 1887 in Table Grove, Ill. as Frances A. Perdue, she entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross on July 2, 1911, coming from Chico, Calif. She was received as a novice Dec. 10, 1911 and made her profession Dec. 19, 1913. Assigned to teaching duties throughout her community life, she served as academic dean of St. Mary’s Academy from 1919 to 1923. She also taught in schools in Utah, California and Idaho, returning to St. Mary’s Convent to reside in 1969.

Friends may call in St. Mary’s Convent parlors, where a rosary will be recited at 7:15 p.m. Sunday. Services wiil be at 10 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of Loretto Church, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery at St. Mary’s.
