Walter Wayne Peppers, 62, of 56130
Oak Road, died at 7:27 a.m. on Friday, June 18, in his home.
He was born on Dec. 14, 1941, in Etowah,
Ark., to Rufus and Emma (Chapman) Peppers. Mr. Peppers had
been a mechanic in the South Bend area for 40-plus years, and as
a successful business owner.
On March 10, 2004, Mr. Peppers and the
former Nancy Ann (Horvath) renewed their marriage vows.
Surviving are three daughters, Teresa Ann Reeves (Tony) of
South Bend, Ind., Joyce Marie Villanueva (Edward) of South
Bend and Chrystal Starr Horvath; a son, Walter Wayne Peppers Jr.
of South Bend; five grandchildren, Christopher Villanueva,
Savanna Peppers, Derek Villanueva, Emily Peppers and Gregory
Peppers; five sisters, Jean Ceccanese of Fort Wayne, Ind.,
Kathryn Hoggard of Buchanan, Tenn., Dorthy Mickey
of Vandalia, Mich., Lorraine Weiss and Erma Riedel,
both of Niles, Mich.; three brothers, Richard Peppers of
Indianapolis, Ind., Doyle and Larry Peppers, both of South Bend.

Peppers Jr.
The services were at 1:30 p.m. Monday in
Hickey Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 17131 Cleveland Road,
where friends called from noon until time of services.
Mr. Peppers was an active member in Bass
Masters. Mr. Peppers will be greatly missed by all of his family
and friends. He was a great father and wonderful husband, a good
friend to many, and a better fisherman. To many who knew him. He
will be deeply missed by all.
