Roland E. Peppers, 74, of the Cardinal Health and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend, Ind., passed away following an illness at 11:40 p.m. Friday, June 28, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. He was born March 29, 1928, in Granger, Ind., to Alvia and Mary Peppers, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Peppers is survived by his two daughters, Donna (Steve) Simmerman and Brenda (Oscar) LaPlace, both of Mishawaka, Ind.; a sister, Phyllis Peiffer of Mishawaka; two brothers, Donald L. Peppers and Justin "Kenny" (JoAnn) Peppers, also of Mishawaka; and by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He retired from Excel Corporation in 1986 after 26 years as a repairman.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday. Burial will follow the services Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
