Olga M. Peltz

SOUTH BEND - Olga M. Peltz, 83, of Evergreen Lane, South Bend, Ind., died at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 1997, in her residence after an illness.
Mrs. Peltz was the former operator and co-owner, along with her husband, of the music store and studios of Peltz Music House at 416 W. LaSalle Ave. in South Bend. She also taught piano for several years. Mrs. Peltz retired in 1985, after 40 years of being in business.
She was born on Oct. 18, 1913 in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. On June 21, 1941, in South Bend, as Olga M. Cwiklinski, she married A. Tyndall Peltz who passed away on Oct. 24, 1996. Also preceded her in death were her parents, Leo and Rose (Wlodarek) Cwiklinski.
She is survived by a son, Bryan Peltz of Denver, Colo.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Ind. Rev. James Link will be officiating. Friends may gather one half hour before services at the funeral home. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place.
Mrs. Peltz was past president of the South Bend Piano Teacher's Association. She was also a graduate of Sherwood School of Music in Chicago, Ill. and a 1932 graduate of Central High School in South Bend.
