Isaac Tyndal Peltz
Isaac Tyndal Peltz, 80, of 2901 Bonds Ave.,
died at 5 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital. He was a former
vice-president of the Peltz-Kaufer Co., South Bend, and until
1957, was owner of the Peerless Supply Co. He was born on Aug.
8, 1887, in Canada and had lived in South Bend 75 years, coming
from Canada. On Aug. 25, 1907, in St. Joseph, Mich., he
married the former Ellen O. Forsberg, who died in 1963.
Surviving are two sons, A. T. Peltz of South Bend and William R.
Peltz of Birmingham, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. Helen L. Gustin
and Mrs. Florence LeJeune, both of South Bend; seven
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren;, and three sisters, Mrs.
Josephine Swanson and Mrs. Bertha Horning, both of
South Bend, and Mrs. Gertrude Schubert, of LaCrescenta,
Calif. Friends may call after noon Thursday in the
Welsheimer Funeral Home. He was affiliated with the
Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and the Loyal Order of
Moose of South Bend.

PELTZ - Funeral services for Isaac
Tyndall Peltz, 80, of 2901 Bonds Ave., who died Wednesday,
will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home,
David Koehler, reader of the First Church of Christ. Scientist,
officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
