MISHAWAKA, IN - Janice Pelton, 80, passed away on March 26th in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Janice was born February 28, 1928, in Lakewood, OH, to the late Joseph and Josephine (Zahner) Stockhausen. Janice is survived by her six children, Jacquelynn (Roger David) DeFauw of Mishawaka, James (Judy) Keller of Gig Harbor, WA, Richard (Tami) Keller of Minnetonka, MN, Robert (Karen) Keller of Champaign, IL, Mike Keller and Kevin (Ellen) Keller of Andover, MA; along with her siblings, Elizabeth Gagan, Robert (Jane) Stockhausen and JoAnne Theil. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, David (Tara Breeland) DeFauw, Jennifer and James Keller, Natalie and Nicole Keller, Scott Keller, Richard Keller, Sarah and Will Keller; and her great-granddaughter, Ella Brook Breeland-DeFauw. Janice was preceded in death by her first husband, Leo J. Keller; her second husband, William H. Pelton; her siblings, Joseph Stockhausen, Bernice Keelor, Florence Seidler and Rita Treusch; and her grandson, Jason DeFauw.

A brief family service was held on March 27th. Cremation followed. Bubb Funeral Chapel handled arrangements.
