Sam Pellegrino, 80, of St. Lucie
West, Florida, died Thursday, August 17, 2006, in Martin Memorial
Hospital, Stuart, Florida.
Mr. Pellegrino was born in Detroit,
Michigan. He lived in Granger, Indiana, for 22 years where he
owned and operated the Midas Auto Service Centers of Mishawaka, Elkhart
and Goshen. Mr. Pellegrino proudly served in the United States
Army.
Survivors include his wife, Olga
Sheren Pellegrino, wife of 57 years; children, Bob and (Nancy)
Pellegrino (owners of Avenue Automotive-River Park), Janice and
Tom Witkowski of Columbus, Indiana; sister, Joanne Johnson of Virginia
Beach, Virginia; grandchildren, Matthew Pellegrino, Nicholas
Pellegrino, Gregory Witkowski, Laura Witkowski, Jeffrey Witkowski
and Bradley Witkowski.
He was preceded in death by his
parents, Carlo and Rose Pellegrino; brother, Dean Pellegrino; and
by a sister, RoseAnn Sommer.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM on
Monday, August 21, in the McGann Hay Granger Chapel, State Road
23 at Cherry Road. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday,
August 22, at 11 AM in the funeral home. Cremation will follow.
A memorial service will be held on
a later date in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
