Hubert Ulma Peden

Hubert Ulma Peden, 86, of Walnut Street, Osceola, passed away at 3:15 a.m. Saturday at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, following an illness. He was born July 24, 1916, in Florence, Alabama.

On November 13, 1953, he married the former Lorena McKelvey. She survives with two sons: Gary Peden of Mishawaka and Donald R. Peden of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Also surviving are four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Peden was employed by Dodge-Reliance Corporation of Mishawaka for 30 years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club at Dodge.

Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, at the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, where friends will be received from 4 until 7 p.m. Monday. Burial will follow the services at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
