Sister M. Florentine Pearson CSC, 86. Of St. Mary’s Convent, died Tuesday afternoon in her residence. She was born July 10, 1907 in Washington DC, as Margaret Anne Pearson. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross on Aug. 2, 1939; was received as a novice Feb. 2, 1940, and professed her vows Feb. 4, 1942.She was a registered pharmacist and served as chief pharmacist at Mount Carmel Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, until 1973, and St. Mary’s Convent pharmacist until 1990. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s College and George Washington University in Washington DC.

Services will be Friday in at 10:30 a.m. in the Church of Loretto, and burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, both at St. Mary’s. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday in the church, where a wake will be at 7 p.m.
