WALKERTON - Ruth Maxine Pearish, 73, of 604 Ohio St., died at 10:20 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend, after an illness.

Mrs. Pearish was born June 22, 1920, in Henry County, Ind., and lived in Walkerton for 42 years, coming from New Castle, Ind. On Oct. 24, 1961, in Texas, as Ruth Maxine Hoff, she married Clyde Elmer Pearish. He died Nov. 29, 1993. She is survived by a son, Michael Mohler; and a brother, Max H. Hoff of New Castle.

Private memorial services will be at a later date. Cremation will take place. There will be no visitation. Nusbaum-Elkin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
