Marjorie Pawlowski, 83, of Lexington
Blvd., Mishawaka, passed away following an illness at 6:31 p.m.
Tuesday, November 7th, 2006, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical
Center, South Bend, Indiana. She was born November 26, 1922, in
Mishawaka, to George and Beaulah (Lafevere) Stutsman,
who both preceded her in death.
In April 1942 she married Lloyd Dunning, who
preceded her in death in June 1973. She then married John
Pawlowski in February 1976, who also preceded her in death in
June 2001. Mrs. Pawlowski is survived by her children, Nancy
(David) Truex of Mishawaka, Becky (Ron) Morningstar
of South Bend and Ronald (Phyllis) Dunning of Mishawaka;
her stepchildren, Richard (Lynn) Pawlowski of Columbia, Maryland,
Robert Pawlowski of Granger, Edward Pawlowski of Cassopolis,
Michigan, Jeannie (Terry) Baum of Mainville, Ohio, Rita
(Adam) Brockie of Plant City, Florida, and Angela DeMeester
of Mishawaka; eight grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren and 14
great-grandchildren; and by a brother, Paul Stutsman of
Springfield, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a grandson,
Charles Truex in May 2006; a stepson, David Pawlowski in January
1988; her four brothers, Ralph, Charles, Clyde and Virgil; and by
a sister, Lois Marie.
Marjorie was a member of Albright United
Methodist Church, TOPS at Battell Center, Battell Center Sewing
Circle and was a member of the Mishawaka Alumni. She regularly
volunteered to work polling places on election day. She was an
avid oil painter and bird watcher.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m.
Saturday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street,
Mishawaka. Burial will follow the service Saturday at Chapel Hill
Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends will be received in the
funeral home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today. The family has
requested that memorial contributions be made to Albright United
Methodist Church.
