John R. Paturalski, 51, of 56450 Quince Road, died at 2:07 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was a plumber for United Plumbing and Heating. Born on March 14, 1932, in South Bend, he had lived here all his life. On. Jan 7, 1956, in Terre Coupee, he married Joan Ornat, who survives. He also is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Diane Russell of Plymouth, Mrs. Julie Hamilton and Miss Nancy Paturalski, both of South Bend, and Lisa, at home; a son, Rene of  South Bend; three grandchildren; his father, Mike Paturalski of South Bend; a sister, Mrs. Virginia McCawley of South Bend; and three brothers, Mike of Florida, Bert and George, both of Niles. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home. He was a member of Local 172 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union.
