Mary C. Paszek, 88, formerly of South Bend, Ind., passed away on Wednesday, March 19, in her home in California. She was born in South Bend on Dec. 16, 1914.

She married Al B. Paszek, who preceded her in death. Mary is survived by two daughters, Barbara Jean Paszek of Torrance, Calif., and Mary Ann Conti of Niles, Ill.; and by a grandson, Matthew Conti, and a great-granddaughter, Emmesi Kenny.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and the Altar Society. Mary was a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She was a devoted mother who had a deep love for her family. Mary loved to bake. She was baking something almost every day.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 24, from 10 to 11 a.m. in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 23, in the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
