SOUTH BEND – Esther M. Paskiet, 74, of West Grace Street, died at 6:20 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Medical Center. She was born July 141, 1918 in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On Sept. 7, 1934, in South Bend, as Esther Aftowski, she married Stranley J. Paskiet Sr. He died April 29, 1972. She is survived by a daughter, Rose M. Rozmarynowski os South Bend; a son StanleyJ. Jr. of South Bend; four grandchildren, and two sisters, Eleanor Lyczynski and Florence Hubnall, both of South Bend. She was a member of St. Mary’s Polish National Catholic Church.
