Brother Agatho CSC, 68, died early this morning at Notre Dame as the result of infirmities attendant upon extreme old age. His worldly name was William Parle, and he was born in 1846 in County Wexford, Ireland. He was a lay brother in the Order of Holy Cross, having entered it May 15, 1879

The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 8 o’clock in Sacred Heart Church at Notre Dame, and burial will be in the community cemetery.
