Louis William Paluzzi, 80, of McKinley Highway, Mishawaka, Ind., formerly of Pembridge Court, Granger, Ind., passed away after a brief illness at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 19.

He was born on Feb. 3, 1920, in Mishawaka, to the late Nicholas and Clara Paluzzi.

In May 1945 he married the former Gloria Gartner in South Bend. She preceded him in death in 1988. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Eberlein.

He is survived by a daughter, Sherry Probst of Mishawaka; a son, James Paluzzi of Mishawaka; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and by a sister, Dorothy Marshall of Mishawaka.

Mr. Paluzzi was a production worker at Bendix Corporation until his retirement. He was also a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, and was a veteran of the Army, serving in World War II. He was a member of the DAV #6 and the Elks #235.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 30, in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, South Bend.

Entombment will follow at a later date at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind.
