Richard J. Palmer

September 9, 1901 – November 16, 1970

Richard L. Palmer, 69, of 52886 Juniper Road, died at 6:15pm Monday in the Osteopathic Hospital after an illness of 12 years.

Born September 9, 1901, in South Bend, he had resided here his lifetime.  In 1941, in Angola IN; he married Mildred M. Bradley, who survives.  Also surviving are two brothers, Chester of South Bend and Robert of Granger; two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Kreis of Big Rapids MI and Mrs. Ethel Spangler of Moscow ID

Friends may call in the Forest G. Hay & Son Funeral Home from 7 to 9pm today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Wednesday where services will be conducted at 1:30pm Thursday, by Rev. Wilson W. Shabaz, pastor, of the North Side Assembly of God.  Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery.  Mr. Palmer was an employee of the Bendix Corp. for 29 years.
