MISHAWAKA - Gerald E. Painter, 57, died at 1 a.m. Friday in his residence. He worked as a electrician and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a member of American legion and IBEW #153.

He is survived by his mother, Joan Painter; daughter, Patricia Ann Witz; siblings, Barry (Hyun Ro) Painter and Kimberly (Colt) Wagner; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Bubb Funeral Chapel, where friends may call from one hour before services. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery Mishawaka.
