SOUTH BEND - Raymond F. Page, 72, of
Oakmont North Drive, died at 4:28 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph's
Medical Center. Mr. Page retired in 1986 from Bendix Corp., where
he worked with plant security for 30 years. He was born April 5,
1922, in Wisconsin, and lived in this area the last 38 years.
On April 26, 1958, in Marshall County, he
married Charlene Garber. She survives, with two daughters,
Lisa Estes of Mishawaka and Jackie Beach of Roscoe,
Ill.; a son, James of Waukesha, Wis.; a stepson, Mark Prater
of South Bend; 13 grandchildren; and two sisters, Geraldine Buchanan
and Kathleen Faivre, both of LaValle, Wis. He was a member
of American Legion Post 284, Moose Lodge 58, and a life member of
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 624, Roseland.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial
Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Sunday in Welsheimer Funeral Home North. Memorial contributions
may be made to the building fund for VFW Post 624, Roseland.
SOUTH BEND - Services for Raymond F. Page,
72, of 19085 Oakmount North Drive, who died at 4:28 a.m. Friday
in St. Joseph's Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in
Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road. Burial will
be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park Cemetery, Granger. Friends
may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home
where the Veteran of Foreign Wars will conduct a memorial service
at 7 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to the
building fund for Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 624, Roseland.
Mr. Page was a World War II veteran of the Army.
