Services for Sister M. Angelus Paczesna CSC, 85, of St. Mary’s Convent, who died early Tuesday morning in St. Joseph Medical Center, South Bend, will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto, and burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today in the convent, where a wake will be conducted at 7 p.m.

She was born Anna Maria Paczesna on July 7, 1904 in South Bend. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross on Jan. 30, 1927; was received as a novice on Aug. 15, 1927 and professed her vows on Aug. 15, 1929. She formerly taught at St. Hedwig School, Holy Cross School and St. Patrick’s School, all in South Bend; and also schools in Plymouth, LaPorte, Elkhart, Danville, Ill., and Chicago.
