Sister Mary Cubbert CSC, died this morning in Saint Mary’s Convent after an extended illness. She was born Julia Ann O’Sullivan in County Cork, Ireland in 1876. She entered the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1900, receiving the habit in the same year, and made her final vows in 1905. Prior to her retirement she was assigned to Mount Carmel Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, and St. Joseph’s Home in Washington DC, and had spent several years at St. Mary’s Convent. She is survived by three nieces and two nephews.

The requiem high mass will be in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto at St. Mary’s on Friday, with burial in the Community Cemetery. Friends may call in the convent parlor.
