Larry D. Osborne, 59, of West Marion Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away after an illness at 2 a.m. Monday, Jan. 20, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend, Ind. Larry was born in Mishawaka on April 11, 1943, and was a lifelong area resident.

On Aug. 31, 1974, in Mishawaka, Larry married Elizabeth Vallance. Larry was a team leader with Aeroquipe, Inc., of Elkhart, Ind., was a delivery person with Quelux of South Bend, and was co-owner with his wife of Grins and Giggles Day Care, Mishawaka. Larry was involved with Habitat for Humanity.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; a son, Richard "Ricky" Osborne of Mishawaka; a daughter, Jennifer (Steven) Sanders of Mishawaka; a grandchild, the joy of his life, Corey Douglas Lawrence Sanders; one great-niece, Autumn Stephenson; three brothers, William (Sue) Osborne of Osceola, Ind., Randy (Kathie) Osborne of Mishawaka and John (Rosalee) Osborne of Las Vegas, Nev.; a sister, Kathy Phelps of Mishawaka; and by his mother, Juanita Osborne of Mishawaka. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Richard Osborne.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka. Friends called from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, to Hope Lodge, Indianapolis, IN, or to Habitat for Humanity.
