GRANGER - Betty Jo O'Reilly, 74, of Granger, passed away
at 11:15 a.m. Sunday, March 23, in Memorial Hospital, after an
extended illness. Betty was born August 5, 1933, in Glasgow,
Kentucky. She was preceded by her daughter, Michele O'Reilly; her
mother, Clarine (Pruitt); and a sister, Sue Serge.
Betty is survived by her husband, Thomas
Robert O'Reilly, who was married February 7, 1959 in St.
Anthony's Catholic Church, South Bend. Also surviving are two
sons, Kevin (Jane) O'Reilly of South Bend and Patrick (Kelli)
O'Reilly of Yorkville, IL; a grandson, Brenden O'Reilly of
Indianapolis, IN; her father, William Linn of South Bend;
a sister, Sharon (Alan) Mann of Winter Haven, FL; and two
brothers, John (Nanette) Linn of Granger and Richard (Nancy) Linn
of Vero Beach, FL. Betty Jo was a member of St. Pius X Catholic
Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at
10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 27 in St. Pius X Catholic Church,
52553 Fir Road, Granger, IN, with Rev. William Schooler
officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m.
Wednesday, March 26 in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home, 17033
Cleveland Road, South Bend, and one hour prior to the services at
St. Pius X Catholic Church on Thursday. Burial will follow at
Saint Joseph Valley memorial Park, Granger. In memory of Betty
Jo, contributions may be made to The Association for Individual
Development, 1135 Bowes Road, Elgin, IL 60123. Betty Jo had
exceptional strength and character, as she over came a lifetime
of Physical challenges in order to lead a wonderful and
fulfilling life.
