Sister Mary Rosearita CSC, 78, of St. Mary’s Conventdied this morning in the convent. She was born Oct. 27, 1893 in San Francisco as Mary Margaret O’Malley, and entered the Sisters of the Holy Cross on July 9, 1910. She was received as a novice on Aug. 4, 1911 and made her profession of vows on Aug. 15, 1913. She was assigned to teaching in secondary schools in Illinois, Idaho, California, Texas, Utah and Indiana including St. Joseph Academy in South Bend. She has resided in the convent since January of this year.

Friends may call in the convent parolors, where a rosary will be at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be at 7 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Loretto Church with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
