Edward W. Olszewski

January 17, 1912 – October 9, 1985

Edward W. Olszewski, 73, of 29914 County Road 22 W, Elkhart, died at 11:20am Wednesday in Elkhart General Hospital.  Mr. Olszewski retired in 1973 after 30 years with Indiana & Michigan Electric Co.

He was born January 17, 1912, in Chicago, and had lived in Elkhart since 1937.  On June 7, 1937, in Mishawaka, he married Loa Mertz.  She survives along with a daughter, Diana Sutten of Elkhart; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two brothers, Richard of Sun City AZ and Frank of Chicago.

Services will be at 11am Saturday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, Mishawaka.  Burial will be at St Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.  Friends may call from 7 to 9pm today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Friday in the funeral home.  Mr. Olszewski was a member of Victory Chapel Baptist Church, Osceola.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
