Oliver E. Olson

December 28, 1900 – July 2, 1967

Oliver Edward Olson, 66, of 2002 S. Scott Street, died at 2:20pm Sunday at his summer home at Cable Lake near Dowagiac of an apparent heart attack.  He was a precision tool grinder at Bendix Corp. for more than thirty years, retiring in 1965.

He was born on December 28, 1900, in Michigan City and had lived here since 1928, coming from Niles.  On June 22, 1922, he married Maybelle Sniedendorf in Michigan City.  She survives along with a sister, Mrs. Alice Mason of California.

Friends may call after 7pm Tuesday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home.  Services will be at 2pm Thursday in St Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rev. Theodore Kleinhans, officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.  Mr. Olson was a member of St Paul’s Church.
