GRANGER – Hellen Olejnik, 68, of
Leo Street, died at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Medical
Center, South Bend. Mrs. Olejnik was born Feb. 25, 1927, in
Poland, and lived in Granger for 46 years, coming from Germany.
On Oct. 22, 1947, in Germany, she married
Matt Olejnik. He survives with a daughter, Jean Machowiak
of South Bend; a son, Chet of South Bend; three grandchildren;
two sisters and a brother, all in Poland. She was a member of St.
Pius X Catholic Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the
church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Funeral
Home, South Bend, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
