Sister Mary Ignatia CSC, died Saturday afternoon in St. Mary’s Convent following a long illness. She was born Mary Bridget O’Connor in County Limerick, Ireland in 1891. She entered the congregation in 1909 and made her profession of vows in 1912. She received her nursing education at Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was assigned during her community life to hospitals in Anderson, Ind, Idaho, Fresno, Calif, and to Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City. She retired to St. Mary’s Convent in 1956.

Services will be will be at 4 p.m. Monday in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus. Friends may call in the convent parlor.
