Sister Mary Maud O’Brien CSC

Sister Mary Maud CSC, whose worldly name was Mary O’Brien, died at 4 o’clock this morning at St. Mary’s college and academy. She was born in 1858 in Michigan and entered St. Mary’s in 1883. Her final vows were taken in 1886. She was a successful teacher and superior in mission schools in Utah, California and Virginia.

The funeral will be held at 4 o’clock Thursday afternoon.

Funeral services for Sister Mary Maud CSC, whose world name was Mary O’Brien were held this afternoon at St. Mary’s. Burial was in the community cemetery.
