Kenneth N. Obrecht, born July 12,
1924, died August 12, 2001. He formerly resided in South Bend
before moving to Texas. Preceded in death by first wife, Vera. He
is survived by wife, Veronika; seven children, Christine Savarese
and Robert Luckiewicz, Norman, Gregory and wife,
Elizabeth, Mary and husband, Darnell O'Neal, Kenneth
Michael, Constance and husband Robert Varian, John and
wife, Monisha; also by 12 grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren; also by Veronika M. and husband, Gene Davis
and their two children, Christine Mancuso and Louis
Mancuso and wife, Michelle and their two children; also by
sister, Jean and husband, Tom Bushey and family, brother, Tom and
wife, Mattie and family; and brother, Richard and family.
He was a veteran of W W II serving in
Europe. He received his BS and Law degrees from the University of
Notre Dame. As a corporate attorney he worked 43 years for
Associates Financial Services. He was a member of Christ The King
Catholic Church, the German American Club and the Dallas Goethe
Center.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m.
Thursday, August 16, 2001 at Restland Memorial Park offered by
Msgn. Donald Zimmerman. A memorial mass was offered at 11:30 a.m.
Thursday, August 16, 2001, at Christ The King Catholic church,
8017 Preston Road, Dallas, TX 75225.
