OSCEOLA - Ray O. Oakley, 95, of 1317 Lincoln Way W., died at 6:26 a.m. Sunday in Elkhart General Hospital. Mr. Oakley retired from Studebaker Corp. in 1963 after 37 years of service. He was born Feb. 7, 1900, in Carroll County, Ind., and lived in Osceola most of his life. On May 13, 1922, in South Bend, he married Emma M. Yubricht. She died July 25, 1988. He is survived by a daughter, Marie K. Lonzo of Osceola; a granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; two sisters, Sylvia Hilderbrand of Oscoda, Mich., and Gladys Rakestraw of Tawas, Mich.; and three brothers, Robert and Floyd, both of Osceola, and Forest of Tulare, Calif. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Men's Club.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Warner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Valley Men's Club or Grace Brethren Church.
