March 7, 1958 - May 15, 2010
MISHAWAKA - Alan Dale "Little Al" Nyerges, 52 years
old, residing in Mishawaka, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010,
in his home. He was born March 7, 1958, in South Bend, the son of
George A. and Connie (Morton) Nyerges, who reside in Granger.
Also surviving are a son, Jesse Devine of Gilbert, AZ; two
sisters, Sheree Nyerges and Terri (Randy) Bazyk, both of South
Bend; and two nephews, Kyle and Wyatt Bazyk. In addition, Al is
survived by two aunts, Linda (Jerry) Weston and Shirley Rankin,
both of Granger; and three uncles, Robert (Dawn) Nyerges of
Edwardsburg, MI, Albert (Grace) Nyerges and Richard (Jean)
Nyerges, both of Granger; along with many cousins. Little Al
formerly worked at Forest River in Elkhart as a sheet metal
operator. He enjoyed motorcycles, and loved making furniture for
his family and friends. He was a graduate of Clay High School,
South Bend. Services will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 19th, in
the Palmer Funeral Home-Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road,
South Bend, with Roberta Spencer officiating. Cremation will take
place at Southlawn Cremation Services, and burial will be at a
later date at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. The family will
receive friends from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Palmer
Funeral Home-Hickey Chapel. Contributions in memory of Alan Dale
