GRANGER - Mr. Robert Joseph Nush, 45, of Granger passed away
following an illness, Wednesday evening, in his residence with
loved ones by his side. Bob was born on January 31, 1965 in East
Gary, IN to the late Charles and Virginia (Fazekas) Nush. He
graduated in 1983 from Edison High School in Lake Station, IN. In
1996 he married Ann Marie Jean (Pilawski) Nush and later they
moved to Granger. They were blessed with a beautiful daughter,
Abigail, in 2001. Bob was employed at Forest River R.V. in
Elkhart. Bob was a huge Notre Dame and Pittsburgh Steelers fan
and enjoyed playing golf. He truly loved coaching his daughter's
teams in t-ball and softball at Eastside Little League in South
Bend as well as Upward Basketball. Other survivors besides his
wife, Ann Marie, are his daughter, Abigail Marie Nush, age 8; a
sister Mary (Dave) Conkle of Wanatah, IN; five brothers: Chuck
(Cheryl) Nush of Round Lake, IL, Paul Nush of Fond du lac, WI,
David (Jean) of Hobart, IN, Jimmy (Tammy) Nush of South Haven ,
IN and Larry Nush of Fond du lac, WI as well as many nieces and
nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Teresa. A mass of
Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, Monday in St.
Pius X Catholic Church, with Msgr. William Schooler, officiating.
Friends may call 9:30 am to 10:30 am prior to mass in the church
on Monday. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Notre
Dame, IN. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at
McGann Hay Funerals | Cremations | Gatherings, Granger Chapel,
13260 SR 23 (enter off Cherry Rd), where there will be a parish
Wake Service at 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family has
established an account in Abigail Marie Nush's name to be used
for her educational needs. Donations may be made into that
account at any Notre Dame Federal Credit Union location. To send
