Mrs. Michael Nowicki: (South Bend Tribune 5/14/1942)

Mrs. Michael Nowicki, aged 76, of 1337 West Fisher street, died at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday in her home after an illness of three months. Born in Poland Feb. 10, 1866, she came to South Bend from that country 50 years ago. Surviving are the husband, Michael; two sons, Bert and Harry Nowicki; two daughters, Mrs. Casimir Kolecki and Mrs. Clement Radecki, and four grandchildren, all of South Bend. Friends will be received in the home. The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Casimir’s Roman Catholic church. Rev. Boleslaus J. Sztuczko, C.S.C., pastor, will chant the requiem high mass. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery.
