Mary E. Nowicki: (South Bend Tribune 7/22/1985)

Mary E. Nowicki, 78, of 317 S. 35th St., died Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, 605 Cleveland Ave. Mrs. Nowicki was employed at Uniroyal Inc. for 18 years. She was born April 1, 1907, in Dayton, Ohio, and lived in the South Bend area for 60 years. Her husband, Harry Nowicki, died Dec. 23, 1981. She is survived by a daughter, Dolores Chodzinski of  South Bend; six grandsons; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home where a parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
