Marvin Ronald Nowicki, 53, of 1403 Crestwood Blvd., died a 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph’s Medical Center. Mr. Nowicki was an employee of Simon Bros. Inc. He was born Dec. 16, 1933, in South Bend, where he lived all his life. On Oct. 17, 1959, in South Bend, he married Carol Wentland, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Lori Balmer of Granger and Gina Nowicki of Bloomington, Ind.: a sister, Gloria Carr of Granger; and a brother Bill Nowicki of Elkhart. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Little Flower Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. He was a member of the Polish National Alliance Lodge No. 83 and the Indiana University Parents Booster Club.
