Mrs. John Nowicki: (South Bend Tribune 2/11/1928)

Mrs. Laura Nowicki, age 26, of 808 East Dayton street, died this morning at 2:30 o’clock in the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Strangreciak, Warren township, after a three months’ illness. She was born in South Bend June 16, 1901, and spent all her life in this city. Surviving her are her husband, John, two children, Irvin and Dorothy: four brothers, Frank, Joseph, Kelly and Stanley, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Genchaff, Mrs. Anna Machowiak and Mrs. Irene Ciesielski, in addition to her parents. The body may be viewed in the Nowicki residence. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9:30 o’clock in St. Matthew’s Roman Catholic church, Rev. T.J. Hammes, the pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s cemetery.
