SOUTH BEND - Born to Frank and Helen Nawrocki on Nov. 26, 1919, in South Bend, Ind. She married Stanley J. Nowak on Aug. 17, 1940, in South Bend, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Anton (Tony), Joseph (Joe), Chester (Nitto) and Leonard (Peanuts) Nawrocki. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Hillard Morse of Gurnee, Ill., and Barbara and John White of Niles, Mich., along with her remaining brother, Bernard Nawrocki of South Bend. She deeply loved her five grandsons, Kevin Morse of Gurnee, Kenneth Morse of Kenosha, Wis., John White (who preceded her in death), David and Daniel White of Niles. Also missing their great-grandmother are two great-grandsons, Tony Morse of Gurnee and Christopher White of Niles; and a great-granddaughter, Kelly Morse of Gurnee.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a Rosary will be said at 4 p.m. Services will be at 9 a.m. on Tuesday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Mrs. Nowak was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Adalbert Catholic Church restoration fund.
