SOUTH BEND - Cecilia A. Nowak, 74, of South Kaley Street, died at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital of natural causes. Mrs. Nowak retired in 1983 from Indiana Carton Co. She was born Oct. 31, 1921, in South Bend.

On Nov. 29, 1947, in South Bend, as Cecilia Jozwiak, she married Stanley Nowak. He survives with two daughters, Marcia Cassidy of South Bend and Sherry Burrows of Niles; two sons, David and Randy, both of South Bend; a sister, Marie Wesolowski of South Bend; and a brother, Edwin Jozwiak of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home, where a parish rosary will be said at 4 p.m.
