SOUTH BEND - Services for Steve J. Nowacki, 80, of Huey Street, who died at 5:45 a.m. Monday in the home of a relative on Cottage Avenue, Mishawaka, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 4 p.m.

Mr. Nowacki retired from Wheelabrator-Frye Corp., Mishawaka.

He was born Aug. 19, 1915, in South Bend. On July 25, 1942, in South Bend, he married Dorothy Peck. She survives with five sisters, Monica Otolski and Agnes Osmanski, both of Mishawaka, Alice Makielski and Florence Zielewski, both of South Bend, and Sister Angelitte of Illinois; and a brother, Joseph of South Bend.
