Robert E. Nowacki

December 9, 1929 – September 5, 1986

Robert E. Nowacki, 56, of 536 E. Oakside Ave., died at 5:30am today in his home after an illness. Mr. Nowacki was a millwright for Tonn & Blank Construction Co., Michigan City.

He was born December 9, 1929, in South Bend and had lived in South Bend most of his life. On March 17, 1973, in South Bend, he married Mae Arch, who survives.  Also surviving are a daughter, Anna Nowacki of South Bend; two sons, Dean T. of Indianapolis and Christopher R. of Longmont CO; three grandchildren; a sister, Helen Harrell of South Bend; and a brother, Frank Jr. of Mishawaka.

There will be no services or visitation.  Cremation will take place at Michiana Crematory.  Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., is in charge of arrangements.  He was a member of Local 1043 of the Millwright union, Chesterton, Local 413 of the Carpenters union, South Bend, and Calvert Rod & Gun Club.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St Joseph Co Inc or any charity.
